The White Tiger, by Aravind Adiga: A Review

Just got done reading with the book and thought would write a quick review before things start fading off. The book has been neatly written and manages to capture and retain the interest of the reader.

The book is written in the form of several letters that a poor, uneducated man writes to the Chinese Prime Minister before his arrival to Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. In the letters he writes about his journey from a poor village boy, to a faithful city driver, to a murderer, and finally to a corrupt entrepreneur.

Each part of the book talks about harsh realities of life of every common Indian. An Indian who is So busy earning and living a descent life, that he never manages to find time to think about these grave issues. A great read from someone who would like to know India and not just see it from the outside.
